Bawtry Evangelical Free Church

Life was all sadness and pain, empty,

Existing without purpose or reason,

yet afraid to die.

Now I’m happy, fulfilled, in love

And will be forever.

“But how?” you ask,

“Forgiven” I answer.

I learned how Jesus loved me,

He suffered and died for my sin.

Ashamed and unworthy

I wept. “Lord please change my life

I need some hope, I’m sorry for the

Wrong things done, please forgive me

God is always waiting to hear and

forgive us.

I became a new being,

Loved and healed. Burdens all gone.

Jesus is the answer

Know Him and live.
