Rescued, Being Rescued and will be Rescued
When I was 16 I read in the Bible “What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death? Thanks be to God—through Jesus Christ our Lord!”. That described how I felt and gave me the solution to being me. Jesus rescued me.
When Idi Amin came to power in Uganda with a bloody revolution... Jesus rescued us.
When we were chased by a Rhinoceros… Jesus rescued us.
When the mortgage rate reached 15% … Jesus rescued us.
When Communist Bulgaria’s secret police followed us …. Jesus rescued us.
When the Albanian Army threatened to shoot down our plane over Tirana.. Jesus rescued us.
When four of the five nuts came off the wheel of our van on a German Autobahn.. Jesus rescued us.
In retirement, day by day… Jesus rescues us!!!
When I stand before Him in Heaven’s court house He will see me with all my sin and say “His debt is paid, Welcome to my Kingdom.”
He will rescue me.
